About Me

A mom of 4, I blog very rarely, and use this mostly for future memory of when I forgot to capture these events in a baby book somewhere.

Fort Myers

Last Wednesday we, (kids, gran, and i) drove down to ft. myers to visit faydra and kaden. (she was there visiting her dad). we went to the pool, and drove the golf cart around looking for alligators in the lakes (ponds?) on the golf course. then we hung out at faydra's dad's place and watched the kids chase each other, play hide and seek, and spill bubbles on the patio. Here are a few pics i took (and some that faydra took).

Will and Kaden had a fun time playing follow the leader.

I love this picture because it shows the fun things she has been doing with her tongue lately. She really is obsessed with twisting it. she does it CONSTANTLY! click on it to make bigger so you can see. The funny thing is that i was looking through pictures last night, and i found this one of will (i don't remember him ever doing this, so it's kind of just a coincidence).

Looking for Pretties

Yesterday Will told me he was going to look for some pretties. "Pretties?" "Yep!" "Will, what is a pretty?" "You're a pretty mom!" Isn't that the sweetest thing ever? And the he topped it by jumping on the couch and giving me a huge kiss. I love my son!

Screwdriver and Ladder

Will spent Saturday night at Gran's house and slept in Uncle Matt's bed. When he woke up Gran went to get him (for some reason he won't get out of bed til we come in). The first words out of his mouth were, "I need a screwdriver and a ladder." Wondering what that meant, Gran asked him why and he said, "I need to fix it" looking up at Uncle Matt's blinds, one of which was broken. When retelling this story to someone he added in, "I need a screw, too." I asked him today if he wanted to ask Uncle Matt to get the screwdriver to fix it and he said, "No! I have my own screwdriver!"

Another tooth

Kirstine tried very hard to break her second tooth out of town also, but she missed by a day. Her second tooth came out this morning. Yay!

We got back from our first trip to Birmingham last night...and loved it! I am very excited to move there. It was so weird driving over mountains (or hills - but mountains to this floridian). The kids were great again on the trip, thanks mostly to our babysitters (just kidding), Scott's Uncle Bill and Aunt Janet and cousins Will and Rob, who played with the kids constantly.

And we visited two churches, and although not 100% ideal for both of us, we would both be very happy at either of them.

Pictures to come...
