- A mom of 4, I blog very rarely, and use this mostly for future memory of when I forgot to capture these events in a baby book somewhere.

Easter Sunday
We had Easter lunch and hunt at Aunt Pat's, as we do every year. As i said in the previous post, Will did great on this hunt and got lots of eggs (which means lots of candy for us! it's so great when they're too young to know how much candy they're supposed to have!)

Loadin' up Fish
Will got the stool and put it in the kitchen and got down his pretzel goldfish all by himself. and then decided to turn them into dirt? Whatever. It was a pretty cute sight when I came out of the office and saw him like this. Notice the hummer is sitting up on a hill (he puts a pillow down, and the blanket on top). Notice there are fish not only in the front of his backhoe loader, but also in the little bucket in the back. and not sure if you can tell, but when we went to gran's office last week he found a little plastic baby (came in some flower arrangement of hers and she never got rid of it) - he now uses is as a driver. so his baby is driving the hummer.
side note: the other day he told me his baby was looking at the stars. he calls Kirstine his baby, so I was very confused. I came over and he had his blanket laid out just like this, and his little plastic baby was laying on its back looking up. (he and gran go outside at night all the time and lay a blanket in the grass to look at the stars).

UPDATE - X-RATED PICTURE: I just looked at this picture on zoom to see if I could see the baby, and I realized the baby is not exactly seated in the normal sitting position. Look with caution.

Jaime and Scott
Particle Man
Here's a little snippet...
What's he saying? "Particle Man, Particle Man. Doin' the things a particle can. What's he like? It's not important. Particle Man."

These words: "Is he a dot, or is he a spec? When he's under water does he get wet? Or does the water (Will adds in 'actually' here, since it's his favorite word) get him instead? Nobody knows, Particle Man."

Why did he steal their money?
While I am coming into the office to post about a funny thing Will said today, Scott is reading him his bible story. They get to Zaccheus, and we sing the song. Scott starts to read the story and it starts by saying something like, "Do you have friends? Zaccheus didn't..." And Will jumps in by pointing at the picture of Zaccheus on the opposite page and asking Scott, "Why did Zaccheus steal their money?" He is so brilliant! Granted, he has heard that story before, but it's been at least since before Christmas. We read a story a night, and when we get to the end of the book we start over. I'm just amazed at his memory.
So the story I was coming in to write about...
The title: All Arabs Must Be...
We are watching the movie American Dreamz today. If you haven't seen it, it is an American Idol rip off intermixing a plot line of a dumb president, Mandy Moore as a contestant, Hugh Grant as Ryan Seacrest, and a guy from Iraq as a contestant. In the beginning of the movie that guy is at a training camp for terrorists in Iraq. There is a scene where all the guys are sitting around in a tent, and they all have beards, are dark skinned, and have turbans on their heads. My almost 3 year old son says, "There's Jesus and Joseph!" How funny is he!
I also have to note that later on in the movie there is a black female contestant that has a big afro, and she has her hair split into two high ponytails (so there are two big puffs of hair in the shape of balls). and Will says, "that girl looks like Mickey Mouse!" He makes me laugh so much. Adults without kids must live such nonfunny lives. I can't imagine how boring my life would be without him.
Other goings on in our lives right now..
Will's favorite song is Particle Man by They Might Be Giants, and he now makes us show him the Tiny Toons video of the song on the computer every night.
Kirstine loves giving kisses. They are so cute. She doesn't always give them to us when we ask her, but she ALWAYS gives them to Will if we ask her to, and then she gets in a mood and gives everyone kisses. She's so cute because she puckers up and points her chin up in the air and makes a cute kissing noise. I just can't get enough of them.

Camping
We took Will camping this weekend, and we were pretty bad parents in the sense that we really didn't take that many pictures. Sorry to the grandparents.
We went to Alexander Springs in the Ocala National Forest. We went with our friends Sean and CJ and their baby, Kyrie, and Keith and Ellen and their kids, Colin and Morgan. We didn't realize until day 3 that Will had been calling Colin "Colin Morgan" all weekend. We thought he was talking about both of them, but just neglecting to say "and". The kids had super fun hiking and exploring the woods, and just being kids. Will loves his Lightning McQueen tent and sleeping bag, and his brand new red camping chair we got at Target. I asked him today what has favorite part of the weekend was, and he said playing hide and seek. We went canoeing on Saturday for 2 hours. We meant to do the 7 1/2 mile trip, but the water was so low they said you really couldn't get through, so we just went down an hour, and back up an hour. We saw 18 turtles and one alligator, the highlight of our day. Enjoy the pics! (can you spot Will in the first one?)
Below: "I'm fishing like Papa" he says after making a fishing pole from our tent pole.
