About Me

A mom of 4, I blog very rarely, and use this mostly for future memory of when I forgot to capture these events in a baby book somewhere.

Disney!

So much to say. We had a great day. I wish we could have gone another day but oh well. When the day began both kids were in grumpy moods as you can see here, but thankfully they got over that pretty quickly.
Our first stop was to hear Belle's story time. Very cute. and we got to take pictures with her afterwards. Kirstine was very excited until it was our turn, then she got shy.

This is on our way to meet Tinkerbell. They shrink us down to fairy size while we are waiting.

Kirstine started out okay with Silvermist. She talked to her and took a picture with her.
But when we had to wait to walk over to Tinkerbell she got VERY shy! She wouldn't talk at all and almost immediately grabbed my neck and dug her head in and then started to cry! I couldn't believe it! Tinkerbell is her favorite person in the whole world right now. If we could have gone back at the end of the day she would have been better.
She was a little better with Rosetta, even talking a tiny bit.

She was overall pretty traumatized by this so we skipped seeing the fairies and Mickey and Minnie (Will also said he didn't want to see them). A few minutes later we saw Tigger and Pooh out in the street and Kirstine started crying hysterically. So we turned around and went the other way. (We also then saw Jasmine and Aladdin and again she wanted nothing to do with them).
Here are the kids on Tom Sawyer's island. Will said his favorite part of the day was shooting the guns in the fort.
Sometime towards the end of the day we were close to the princesses again and since there was only a 15 minute wait we decided to try it. The wait was actually only about 7 minutes so it was great! (fairy line was about an hour). Kirstine did great. She talked to all 3 of the princesses, and still says today "I wasn't shy with the princesses."

While we were in line for dumbo we saw Ariel and Kirstine chose Ariel over Dumbo. She again did wonderfully. The funny thing is that all evening after we were back at the hotel and for the next few days all she would say about disney was "i didn't ride the elephants." silly girl, it was her choice!
And here is the castle at night. So beautiful the way the christmas lights are on it!
