We're here!

Sorry it has taken so long to post. We are here. The drive up went very smoothly. The kids were very well behaved, and Kirstine only got fussy right before nap time. Danielle, my cousin, came up with us to help take care of the kids, and it was a HUGE help. We took her to the airport this afternoon to fly home. After she left Will kept saying, "I love Danielle, why did she leave us?" and this morning he kept telling me he didn't want to go to the airport (!?!) because he didn't want Danielle to leave. We have done a lot of unpacking, but still have a lot left to do.
Will loves his new house. He keeps saying, "I love my new house...I'm so excited...Thank you for buying me my new house" and other variations of that. Anyways, I guess that's all for now. Please email us and comment and send us mail because we miss you all.

Totally out of the blue, Will just rode in on his scooter and asked, "Mom, why does my dad work too much?"

Plans

So today is Tuesday. Our plans for the week include packing, packing, and more packing. We have a LOT done. Will came home last night and went to go potty and yelled, "Where'd everything go???" (His bathroom is entirely empty already). The kitchen is 100% done with the exception of the food. And basically there is just miscellaneous stuff lying around, because we've got all the main stuff done. Tonight's project is the attic.

This week:
Tonight we have dinner at Sean and CJ's
Wednesday: swimming with Giovanni and Adria (and Kristen) , Choir, then card night for the girls at my house, Scott works all night
Thursday: Scott's birthday, we are going to Ceviche's for dinner, and going to finally go see Indiana Jones
Friday: get ready for the yard sale, Scott works all night
Saturday: yard sale, pick up the UHAUL and start loading
Sunday: Scott and my 6th Anniversary!!!!! Church, load UHAUL, Church again (if we are finished packing), and Goodbye fellowship for us at church.
Monday morning we leave :) :(

Disney part 4

Day 1 we went to Magic Kingdom ALL DAY. We were leaving around 9pm during the fireworks, which was not good planning. Will HATES fireworks and cried for about 30 minutes while we were pushing our way through the crowds down Main Street to get out of the park. But we had a very fun day before that. And there are a LOT of pictures to prove it.

To infinity, and beyond!
This is what happens when you keep your kids at a theme park all day. This was in the line for Pirates of the Carribbean. Unfortunately Will woke up in the middle of the ride and was so scared he cried the rest of the ride.

Disney part 3

Day 2 we went to Magic Kingdom again.

Dumbo
We ran into Mary Poppins and Bert. Of course Will didn't know who they were, but I definitely did. Mary Poppins was my FAVORITE movie growing up. It's funny how as an adult you KNOW these characters aren't real, yet it's still a little emotional when you kind of sort of get to meet your childhood idol in real life.

This is for Mickey's Philharmagic (i think was the name). Will's absolute favorite attraction. It was (obviously) a 3-D movie based on Fantasia. Donald takes the magic hat and travels through all the Disney movies. Will giggled and reached out when stuff started flying out into the audience. I can't watch 3-D movies anymore since I am now blind. The 3-D effects don't work when I wear my glasses and the 3-D glasses, and if I take mine off everything's just blurry. So it was very fun during this one just watching Will and his reactions.

We left the park pretty early on Monday. We went back to the hotel and ate and went swimming. Then we left the kids with Gran to put to bed and Scott and I went back to the park. This was super fun because we actually got to watch the fireworks (and I do think their show is one of the best I've ever seen) and ride some rides. I think all we did was Stich (so dumb), Space Mountain (we saw Zack and Cody from Disney TV show Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Funny thing is Scott is the one who saw them. He couldn't remember their names at first, and all he could blurt out was "tv show, twins" and then I looked up right as they passed us and all I saw was the back of their hair, and I knew who it was. It then became our mission to try and find them again, but we didn't.), Thunder Mountain a few times, and Splash Mountain. Then we saw the fireworks, ate really good cheese fries (they have awesome condiment bars all over the Disney parks, and this place had cheese sauce to put on your fries, it was SOOOO good), did some shopping, and went home. Very fun date.

Disney Part 2

Day 3 we went to Animal Kingdom. We had fun, but I definitely like Busch Gardens better.

Boat Day

Last Saturday we went out on the boat. Will had a blast yelling "Wee!" and "Bounce, Bounce" at every wave. We anchored the boat on the shore of Anclote Key. Wonderful little island where no one else goes. We pretty much had the entire beach to ourselves, as you'll see. There's also a cool little inlet right behind you that is very calm. Last time we went we saw a ton of crabs there, so we tried to find some more this time, but no luck. We did see about 5 hermet crabs, though.

Are you THIS mad at me?

Will went Uga in his pants the other morning. He asked if I was really mad at him, and I told him no, only a little mad that he went in his pants and didn't tell me he had to go. So then he said, "Are you this mad at me?" I repeated my answer. Then he asked me again, "Are you this mad at me?" I was like, what the heck does "this" mad mean? Then I realized what he was doing with his face...
Apparently that is the face I make when I am really mad!

Birthday Boy

Today is Will's 3rd birthday. Crazy. Crazy that my son is already 3 years old, crazy that I have now been gone from Caspers Company for 3 years, crazy that my daughter is almost 15 months old, and crazy that we are moving in less than 10 weeks. We made his last birthday here a hoorah (is that a real word? i hear it in my head, but i can't see it in writing, so i'm either totally making it up, or i just really don't know how to spell it). We started the day by bringing him krispy kreme doughnuts on a tray. he got apple juice for breakfast instead of milk, which made him incredibly happy. then we threw a bunch of presents on him. McDonald's happy meal toys - i bought the entire hummer set on ebay. and the seller threw in the tmnturtles set as well. we kept 2 of those and wrapped them, and we will put the rest in the pinata for his party. he was very happy when he opened the first hummer. the second he said, another one? with a big smile on his face. the third he said, valerie has this one. the 4th he said, i have this one. and on. he loved every one of them and pretty much hasn't let them out of his sight all day.



then we got dressed and went strawberry picking. me, will, kirstine, gran, aunt pat, valerie, ricky, jordan, nikolle, krystal, and gage. fun times. Will was not the slightest bit interested in the strawberries. i forced him to hold one for a picture, and later to pick one just to say he did. he cried the whole time. he just wanted to play in the dirt with his hummers.



then we went to chuck e cheese's for lunch. had lots of fun there. aunt pat gave him a card with $, and Valerie gave him Bee Bop Band. he loved the drums and walked around like he was his own drum line for 30 minutes.

we came home and took naps. then went outside to play while papa was spraying the yard for mosquitos (i was cleaning and slicing strawberries to freeze to make strawberry shortcae to sell at relay for life next week). uncle matt came over to give him part of his present - a boat (will called it a fairy? then i realized he meant a ferry when mom said that clifford sometimes rides in a ferry), an airplane, and maximum destruction. max d was the monster truck that matt liked when they went, so now everytime will sees him on tv he says, maximum destruction is uncle matt's favorite monster truck!

then we went to ale house for dinner. nothing too eventful there.

we came home and he played outside a bit and then came in and played with his hummers some more.
