1st Dentist Visits.
It's about time, right? Anyways, Will and Kirstine both had their first dentist appts on Monday morning. They were both fabulous. It was amazing how different Will was during all this than he was on Friday for his dr. appt. (It took 3 people to hold him down to get his shots). He had to go back to the special room after the regular visit to get some cavities filled. He got laughing gas and they did a little drilling. The dr. said he was amazing. I wish I could have seen him during this, but I had to stay in the waiting room with Kirstine.

Busy 2 Days
We began yesterday a little lazy, and then...
I had an appt. with I'll call her the Student Minister to Girls from our church yesterday at 11:30 at Chic Fil A. I want to get involved, so she wanted to meet me. We talked and ate for about 30 minutes while the kids played. Then she left and the kids ate, then played, then had ice cream, and then played until 2:15. We were having such a good time, and met a very nice lady that goes to our church, we just didn't want to leave! And then Will's 4 year check up was at 2:30. LONG VISIT with LOTS OF WAITING!!! We left at 4:30. At least out of that we got blood taken, hearing/vision test, and 4 shots (although I have no idea what for. I have to call on Monday to find that out and get his weight/height correctly b/c they didn't give me the paperwork on any of it!) I do know that he weighs about 34 1/2 lbs. Much less than I was hoping for, especially since I had just given him an entire ice cream cone to fatten him up! His hearing/vision test were perfect. The nurse was very impressed with all that he knew. It's very common among my friends with kids his age, but I guess it's still not normal in the real world to know all letters and numbers at this age. So that's good.
Then we came home and relaxed for about 15 minutes when all 4 of us went to a church nearby (where I go to MOPS) for a little carnival. They had some bouncies, lots of little games, food, a fire truck that he got to sit in... Fun times.
Then we came home and had pizza for dinner.
And I went to bed at 9:30 I think. I haven't gone to bed that early in FOREVER!
Today:
There was this StadiumFest thing at Samford all day today (starting at noon). Kids stuff was from 12-3:30. Veggie Tales, Bible Man, face painting, inflatables... ending with a BMX demonstration. I'm not sure that I would say we had fun. It was an adventure though. We had to park across campus and ride school buses in. Not so bad except It was 6 months pregnant me, 2 toddlers, and a stroller I had to carry over my head down the skinny aisle of a school bus. When we got there it was like 90 degrees outside. Soooooo hotttt. I really don't believe I didn't pass out. They had covered the football field in white tarp. For heat may be better than black, however not for sun. White gives off soo much glare it's intolerable if you don't have sunglasses on, which I didn't. Anyways, the kids got theire faces painted, I bought water, and then we sat on the bleachers waiting for the bikes. In the meantime some rappers came out. Will enjoyed them at first, but then he started complaining that it was too loud and hot and he wanted to go home. After making total sure that he didn't want to wait for the bikes, we went ahead and left. I was miserable, too, after all, and so was the baby - I could tell!
So we came home and plugged in our new sprinklers and had fun! I didn't get many pictures b/c the camera died, but I did get some good video for myself.
Then we went for a truck drive around the neighborhood. Wouldn't be so bad if we didn't live at the BOTTOM of the hill. That was a LONG way up to the end of the street!!!
Then chill and dinner time. Then we went to Uncle Bill and Aunt Janet's house to hang out for about 45 minutes before heading back to StadiumFest for the fireworks. We just parked and put the blanket in front of the van to watch. Will was very excited and assured me that he was a big boy and would love the fireworks this year. When they started they were both hysterical. So we hopped back in the van. Will LOVED to watch them from inside the van, but Buggy cried almost the entire time. Then we came home and now the kids are in bed. Whew! Like I said, long 2 days and I am pooped!!!

pottty training
has officially begun. We have our portable potty seat that folds up into the diaper bag, so we can take it every where we go. She is doing excellent when naked at home. It's just the being out and about party that she's not so great yet. But most importantly, for the first time ever I left her door cracked up open tonight. That way she can go potty by herself in the morning if she needs to. We'll see how that goes! Seeing that tomorrow is Sunday and we actually have to get up at a certain time, I might have to wake her up so she might not need it.

Busch Gardens
Snow Day!!!
So we are finally getting the snow day pictures up (from about 2 months ago!). These first ones are what we saw when we woke up. It didn't stop snowing until after noon, so we got a lot more than this. We went out to play for a while until we used it all up and then went inside to warm up. By the time we were done the yard was covered again!

Kaden's Bday Party
We went to Texas about a month ago for the weekend for Kaden's birthday. He had his party at Kevin's school in the ? room where they learn how to fix engines and stuff like that. there's a little fenced in area with old planes the kids got to play in. They had a really fun time.
And here are some pictures I stole from Faydra's camera:
